I was inspired to create this recipe after having the opportunity to try Carnivore Crisps flour! One thing I've been missing on a carnivore diet is pie crust! Have you tried Carnivore Crisps Flour? This recipe uses chicken breast flour. It's the cleanest protein flour on the market made with just 2 ingredients, antibiotic-free chicken breast and real salt. You can use it to replace grain based flour in any of your favorite recipes, from baking to frying.
The pie crust for this recipe is made by adding egg, melted butter, and salt. It's easy to make and similar to the way you would make a graham cracker crust. However, its savory, not sweet. Usually, I make a crustless quiche. Adding a crust to this quiche, really helps elevate the dish, adding an extra layer of deliciousness. The crust is flaky and tender just like real pie crust, and doesn't taste like chicken. It's also high in protein and fat, and carnivore approved.

carnivore crust quiche
Ingredients
Crust:
1/4 cup butter melted
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 large egg
Quiche filling:
5 large eggs
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
1 lb bacon chopped and cooked
1/2 cup chopped ham
1/2 cup rib-eye cooked and chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9 inch pie plate.
In a food processor bowl, add the flour, egg, butter, and salt. Pulse until it forms into dough.
Press the dough into the bottom and sides of the pie plate. You can also poke holes in the surface to help prevent bubbling.
Bake for 6-8 minutes and remove from the oven. While the pie crust is baking, prepare the quiche filling by whisking the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper together in a mixing bowl.
Remove the pie crust from the oven and fill it with the bacon, ham, ribeye, and finally the shredded cheddar cheese. Place the quiche in the oven and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes until the center is set and is lightly browned on top.
Remove the quiche from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before cutting into slices.
You can add any of your favorite meaty toppings to this quiche! Refrigerate any leftovers. This recipe is great for meal prep as it reheats well in the microwave or oven. You could also make this pie crust sweet for keto desserts by adding granulated sweetener.
