CARNIVORE EGG LOAF

Updated: Jun 13

A high fat, high protein loaf that is similar to french toast when topped with whipped cream or sugar free maple syrup!

My son has been pestering me to make french toast, so I decided to make egg loaf. This recipe is low carb, keto, carnivore, and kip approved! You can make it savory or sweet. FYI, the loaf puffs up while baking and falls considerably once taken out of the oven. I highly recommend lining your pan with parchment paper to prevent the loaf from sticking. For carnivores, you only need 3 ingredients! You can top the loaf with homemade whipped cream, cinnamon, or sugar free maple syrup if you like!

carnivore egg loaf

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs

  • 8 tbsp butter melted

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon - optional

  • homemade whipped cream - optional

  • sugar free maple syrup - optional

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a loaf pan or 8x8 pan with parchment paper.

  2. Add the eggs, butter, cream cheese, and cinnamon to a food processor. Pulse until well combined.

  3. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake for 30 minutes if using an 8x8 pan and 50 minutes if using a loaf pan, or until a tooth pick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Enjoy topped with whipped cream or sugar free maple syrup.
